Mr. Johnnie Ray “Little John” Haynes, 57, of Dora unexpectedly went to be with our Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today, Sept. 7, 2012, at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Shanghi Cemetery. Bro. Lenny Sartain will officiate. Bell Funeral Home in Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

John was a good ole country boy and truck driver for over 35 years. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need.

He leaves behind a very devoted wife of 32 years, Patsy Lynn Wood Haynes of Dora; son, Johnny Adam Haynes of Dora; daughter, Misty Haynes-Cox and her husband Harold Cox of Hanceville; three grandchildren, Alyssa Christine Lambert, Maddy Grace Lambert, and Aubrey Haynes; brothers, Donald Haynes of Dora, and Phillip Haynes and his wife Jeanette of Dora; sisters, Faye Cordell and her husband Larry of Dora, and Linda Minor and her husband Steve of Dora; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
