She was preceded in death by her parents, Versa and C.F. Gurganus; and her best friend, Nora Johnson.
She is survived by her son, Derrick Morris of Montgomery; daughter, Amanda (Michael) Rowland of Millbrook; and three grandsons, Peyton Morris, Hayden Morris, and Braxton Morris of Millbrook.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, in the Fairview Cemetery in Jasper at 3 p.m.
