Myra Gail Carver Riley, 65, went home to be with the Lord Nov. 21, 2013.

Gail was a longtime resident of the Bagley community. She graduated from Childersburg High School, class of 1967, and Wallace State Community College. She was a computer science teacher at Bagley Jr. High School for several years. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

Visitation is Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at the New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Eugene Carver will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens.

She was preceded in death by her father, Emery E. Carver.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, John J. Riley; daughter, Shannon (James) Wright of Parrish; son, John Michael (Amy) Riley of Bagley; four grandchildren, Caitlin, Lauren and Natalie Wright and Kellen Riley; her mother, Marjorie Carver; a sister, Judy Carver; three brothers, Emery Eugene Carver, Jr., Jackie Carver and Larry Carver; a host of nieces and nephews; and many friends.
