Odell Tidwell, 85, of Jasper, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at his residence. Funeral services will be today, March 8, 2011, at Kilgore Green Chapel. Burial will follow at New Hope cemetery. Ray Davis will officiate. Visitation was held Monday, March 7, 2011, at Kilgore Green Chapel.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Tidwell; parents, Jadie and Rena Tidwell; brothers, Travis, Mervin, Sam and Quinton Tidwell; and sisters, Ruthy Evans and Cebell Tidwell.

He is survived by his son, Lee Tidwell of Jasper; grandchildren, Christy Lee Ferguson of Jasper and Jon Bradley Tidwell of Jasper; great-grandchildren, Zac Aaron, Johnny Ray Ferguson III and Jaxon Tidwell; great-great-grandchildren, Drake Aaron and Holly Aaron; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
