The family will receive friends today, Nov. 29, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at 1 p.m.in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Boldo Cemetery. Danny Carter will officiate.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, E.J. Smith; son, Jerry Burton; daughter, Donna Hestick; two sisters; and two brothers.
She is survived by her step-son, Darrell Smith (Loretta); step-daughter, Barbara Allison; grandchildren, Veronica Charles, Steven Charles (Crystal) and Joy Thorpe (Johnie); great-grandchildren, Logan McGee, Adain McGee, Donovan McGee, Nicolas Thorpe, Christopher Thorpe, Emily Thorpe and Haylee Charles.
