Ottis Buck Morrow Jr., 66, of Birmingham, formerly of Argo, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on Dec. 21, 1945, in Argo, the son of the late Ottis Buck and Ila Mae Griffith Morrow. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren and his brother-in-law, Gwin L. Kelley.

He was a veteran and had served in the U.S. Army. He had been a member of the American Legion for 11 years. He retired from YRC Corporation in December 2011.

Survivors include his wife, Sandi; his son, Dennis D. Morrow and his wife, Sherry of Argo, and their five children, Dakota, Dalton, Mary Katherine, Sarah Elizabeth and Ella Rose; his daughter, Cheryl Ann Morrow Burgess and her husband, Butch, and their daughter, Olivia, of Graysville; one brother, Kenneth D. Morrow and his wife, Bonnie, of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sisters, Judy Morrow Kelley, Gardendale; Zelda Morrow Daniel and her husband, Francis, Chattanooga, Tenn.; three step-children, Susan, Lindsey and Brent, Birmingham; seven step-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.

The family will hold a private service at a later date at his request.
