Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at 10 a.m. in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel in Dora. Rev. Don Stanton, Rev. Jeffrey Smith, and Dr. Gary Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be today, Nov. 12, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Curtis Flippo; her parents, Harold and Azalene Clardy; and her brother, Johnny Clardy.
Survivors include her children, Michael Flippo (Mary Sue) of Kissimmee, Fla., Janis Smith (Gary) of St. Cloud, Fla., Steve Flippo of Sumiton, and Dirk Flippo (Bonnie) of Cordova; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Stacey and Tyler Smith, and Nicky, Nicole and Clarke Flippo; great-grandchildren, Mia, Jude and Zoe Smith, and Cole Flippo; sister, Joan McGuire; several, nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and a host of friends.
She was such a good mother, and a faithful worker, who was committed to her family and her faith.
