Pauline N. Key, 72, of Carbon Hill, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 29, at Elm Grove Church of God with burial to follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Fayette County. Lynell Early will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. Thursday until 2 p.m. on Friday at the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Flora Nichols.

She is survived by her husband, Johnnie M. Key; sons, John F. Key (Lula), J’Michael Key (Kristi) and Jerry R. Key (Sherry); grandchildren, Summer Key Moore (Scott), Todd Key, Katie Key and Katelyn Key; sisters, Ruth Nichols Norris and Brenda Sue Nichols Latham; and brother, James Mack Nichols.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elm Grove Church of God Building Fund.
