Visitation will be held today, Sept. 25, 2012, from 6 until 9 p.m. in the parlor at Collins-Burke Funeral Home in Jasper. The funeral service will be Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the McDade Cemetery in Carbon Hill. Rev. J.J. Creel, James Cato and Jerry Boyd will officiate. Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Groover.
She is survived by her mother, Samantha Grooms of El Paso, Texas; father, Matthew Grooms; and grandparents, David Key, Billie Key, Steve Grooms, Aubrey “Smokey” Clanton, and Shane Kase.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Key, Chad Kase, Braxton Sims, and Jon Lynch.
