Rhonda Gail Waid, 33, of Houston, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on Sept. 3, 1978, in Haleyville to Ronald and Thelma Waid. She attended school at Winston County High School. She loved listening to gospel music, playing cards with her daddy and spending time playing and laughing with her nephews.

Visitation will be held today, June 7, 2012, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Houston Congregational Christian Church. Burial will be at Houston Community Cemetery. The Revs. Bobby Smith, Robert Partridge and Ricky Moody will officiate.

She is survived by her parents, Ronald and Thelma Waid; sister, Cindy Waid (Brad) Bryant; and two nephews, Nicholas and Hayden Bryant.

She waspreceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Milford and Bessie Waid; and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Mary Lois McGill.
