Visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Oak Hill Cemetery. Charles Underwood will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Swindle; parents, George and Cora Akridge; brothers, Leldon Akridge and J.W. Akridge; and sisters, Eloise Ermelbauer and Mae Latham.
She is survived by her son, Jim Swindle (Tan) of Jasper; sisters, Dorothy Kirchler (Bartle) of Haleyville and Bettye Carol Danley of Moulton; and grandchildren, Kristin Leigh Swindle of Birmingham and Jacob Tyler Swindle (Amanda) of Prattville.
