Shirley Faye Bailey, 73, passed away on Jan. 7, 2013. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today, Jan. 10, 2013, at Old Prospect Methodist Church in Jasper. Burial will follow in Old Prospect Cemetery. Visitation was held on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Bolton Funeral Home in Columbiana. The family will visit with friends today from noon until service time at the church.

Bailey was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel H. Bailey.

She is survived by her children, James (Jane) Bailey, Vonda (Ray) Smith, Stanley (Connie) Bailey, Joseph (Tammy) Bailey, Saconda Bailey Vanderslice and Marty (Brandy) Bailey; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Willie Ruth Bailey; and a host of other family and friends.
