“The burglary and theft occurred sometime between Saturday afternoon and noon on Sunday,” Jasper Police Captain Larry Cantrell said.
According to Cantrell, three vehicles were stolen from the shop. Two of the vehicles, a black 2002 GMC Sierra crew cab and a silver 2006 Mazda, were customer vehicles.
The third vehicle, a red 1970s-model Chevy Chevelle Super Sport with black stripes and a black hood, belonged to the owner of the auto shop.
A handgun was also reported stolen from an office at the business.
The shop is located at 1010 West 17th Street.
