Tommie Jean Estill Cordell, 83, of Cordova, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at her residence.

Visitation will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Dovertown Cemetery in Cordova. The Rev. Randy Key will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her father, Levi Chester Estill Sr.; mother, Hazel Perrin Estill; sisters, Dorothy Estill Borden and Mary Estill Hollingshead; and brother, Levi Chester Estill Jr.

She is survived by her husband, W.H. Cordell; daughters, Karen Cordell Palmer (Randy) of Tuscaloosa and Suzanne Cordell (Joe) of Cordova; son, William Hollis Cordell (Pam) of Montevallo; sisters, Betty Estill Sargent (Bob) of Jasper, Nelda Estill Black (Jimmy Ray) of Cordova, Joan Estill Sellers (Terry) of Oneonta, Carol Estill Reed (Herbert) of Montgomery and Judy Estill of Cordova; grandchildren, Daniel Hollis Cordell of Fort Knox, Kent., Joseph Roden Cordell (Angie) of Seaside, Calif., Matthew Kayne Cordell (JoAnne) of Jasper, Ashley Zane Bullocks of Vestavia Hills, Landon Blake Cordell (Lynn) of Enterprise, Emery Diane Bullocks of Vestavia Hills and John Brady Palmer of Tuscaloosa; great-grandchildren, Zachary Tyler Cordell, Morgan Taylor Cordell, Alexandrea Tajay Cordell, Kristen Laci Cordell, Gabriel Hollis Cordell, Jon Dalton Miller, Matthew Seth Cordell, Roger William Childers, Alejandro Cosme, Ava Gray Cordell and Jacob Roden Cordell.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Hollis Cordell, Joseph Roden Cordell, Matthew Kayne Cordell, Landon Blake Cordell, Jon Brady Palmer and Jon Randall Palmer.
