Despite a steady rain and downpours at times, the Relay for Life Walker County-Jasper saw many people visit the Walker High School track Friday night. The weather forced some of the 45 teams signed up for the event to seek shelter inside a small gym adjacent to the track. The goal for this year’s event was $121,000. All proceeds from the Relay will benefit the American Cancer Society. – Photos by: James Phillips and Rachel Davis.
