Miss Jessica Laurn Moran and Dr. Patrick Roger Wilson were united in holy matrimony on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at 5:30 p.m. at Howell Church of Christ near Fayetteville, Tenn. Mr. David Sain, minister of the West Fayetteville Church of Christ, officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dale and Susie Moran of Fayetteville. She is the granddaughter of of Mr. Bill Smith, and the late Dolores Smith, of Fairmont, West Virginia. She is also the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Moran of Fayetteville, Tenn.

The groom is the son of Roger and Janet Wilson of Jasper, Ala. He is the grandson of Mrs. Bettye Pennington of Jasper and the late Mr. Haston Nunnally and Mr. Bill Pennington. He is also the grandson of Mrs. Inez Wilson of Jasper and the late Mr. Nelson Wilson.

The weekend celebration began with the wedding rehearsal followed by a rehearsal dinner at Okra Restaurant in Fayetteville. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal followed by a video presentation of the bride and groom by Joy K. Clark Photography in Jasper and toasts to the bride and groom.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory lace gown by Mori Lee. The fit and flair formal gown had a sweetheart neckline and covered buttons that cascaded down the back of the dress. Her wedding day jewelry included a pearl and diamond drop necklace and pearl bracelet, both gifts from the groom. Her veil of ivory tulle trimmed with tiny pearls was designed by the bride and handsewn by her mother. Her wedding day monogrammed handkerchief was made from the lace of the veil worn by the groom’s mother.

Attending the bride as matron of honor was her childhood friend Mrs. Jessica Helton and as maid of honor was the bride’s college roommate Miss Lauren Williamson. Bridesmaids were Miss Audrey Hannah, Miss Molly Hannah, Miss Gerrica Moran, Miss Dominica Hermosllla, and Mrs. All Gross, all cousins of the bride, and Mrs. Jessie Welborn and Mrs. Kaycee Valcourt, friends of the bride. Miss Katherine Pennington, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl, and Miss Mary Arden Pennington, also cousin of the groom, was registry hostess.

Best man was the father of the groom, Mr. Roger Wilson. Groomsmen were Mr. Grant Wilson, brother of the groom, Mr. Matt Moran, brother of the bride, Mr. Nolan Williams, Mr. Chad Bull, Mr. Blake Farris, Dr. Wesley Cowan, Mr. Brian Mllster, and Mr. Brooks Dampeer, all friends of the groom. Ringer bearer was Aidan Gross, cousin of the bride.

Mrs. Terry Anderson served as the wedding director. Music was provided by Dr. Jake Masters. Wedding Day photography was by Gray Photography.

Following the wedding ceremony, guests enjoyed a delicious dinner catered by the bride’s uncle Mr. Dennis Hermosilia and his family at the Howell Community Center. The bride's aunt, Patty Hermosllla, designed and made the bride’s cake. Dr. Master served as emcee of the reception.

Following their honeymoon to the Dominican Republic, a celebration for Dr. and Mrs. Wilson was held at Huckleberry Farm In Jasper, Alabama. They reside in Denver, Colorado, where Dr. Wilson is a general practice Resident Dentist at Eastern Colorado Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital and Mrs. Wilson is a preschool teacher in the Cherry Creek public school district.
