WeddingsBruner - Sullivan
Dawn Michelle Bruner of Parrish and Jon Leon Sullivan of Parrish were married on Aug. 18, 2010 at 6 p.m. at the home of the Bride and Groom in Parrish. Jason Murphy officiated the wedding. A reception followed at the home of the bride and groom. Servers were, Linda Smith, Sharon Tucker, Sandra Dunn, Holly Brown, Sonya Hancock , and Jennifer Bruner, all cousins of the Bride.
The bride is the daughter of Carlie “Rass” and Diane Bruner of Oakman. The groom is the son of Susan and Mark Morrow and the late Jimmy Sullivan of Goodsprings.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father, Carlie “Rass” Bruner in a double-ring ceremony. She wore a long white strapless dress and silver beaded headpiece and carried a red rose bouquet. Matron of Honor was Julie Harbin; bridesmaids were Kimberly Cottam and Jimmi Davidson. J.R. Deason served as best man. Other groomsmen were Jamie Bruner, brother of the bride, and Eric Bruner, cousin of bride. Flower girls were Karley Bruner, niece, and Darrell Ann Brown, cousin of the bride.
After a wedding trip to Gulf Shores, the couple resides in Parrish.
Mr. and Mrs. Gary E. Patrick of Silverhill are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Dionne, to James Christopher Cagle, the son of Reba Jo Barton of Jasper and Mr. and Mrs. James Larry Cagle of Daphne.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. L.E. Patrick of Gulf Shores and the late Mr. L. E. Patrick and the late Mrs. Joan Woodward and the late Mr. William J. Withers.
Mr. Cagle is the grandson of Mrs. Carl S. Barton of Jasper, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Miles Vernon Cagle.
The couple will be married on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Gulf Shores.
Ricky and Tammy Elmore of Curry are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Elmore of Curry, to Ross Wilson of Jasper, the son of Troy and Judy Wilson of Curry.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Barbara Kilgore of Jasper and Chester and Faye Elmore of Aliceville.
She is a graduate of Curry High School. She is currently employed with St. Vincent’s Sleep Disorder Center.
The prospective groom is grandson of Inez Wilson.
He is a graduate of Curry High School. He is currently employed with Med-South, Inc.
The wedding will take place at 2 p.m. on Nov. 27, 2010, at The Highland’s on 4th. A reception will be held at The Highland’s on 4th following the ceremony.
