He was born on July 13, 1973 in Birmingham. He spent much of his time raising money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. He enjoyed fishing, hunting (he was known as little man to his hunting buddies), working on tires and lawn mowers, and doing anything to help others.
Visitation will be held today, May 28, 2012 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church. The Rev. Mickey Millican and Vance Hutton will officiate. Burial will be at Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Traci Gill; sons, Jordan Gill and Logan Gill; daughter, Morgan Gill; mother, Brenda (Ronnie) Pitts; brother, Michael Wallace; sister, Tina (Stephen) Pitts; he was Paw Paw to his little Coco Puffy, Miya MaShay Gill; mother-in-law, Peggy Setliff; father-in-law, Dois (Nancy) Cordell; brother-in-law, Kevin (Anna) Cordell; nephews, Devin and Carlin Cordell and Anthony Suttles; and niece, Sissy Lane Suttles.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Emmitt Foster; grandmother, Swan Marine Foster; niece, Shay Marie Fox; and cousin Robert Gray.
