William “Dick” Bailey, 79, of Argo, died Friday, March 10, 2012, at WBMC in Jasper.  Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012, at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in New Hope cemetery in Sipsey. Rev. Dale Lawley and Rev. Otto Tolbert will officiate.  Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Bailey was preceded in death by his parents; Pink and Ivy Bailey; stepmother, Annie Bailey; daughter, Connie Bailey; grandson, William Campbell; granddaughter, Kayla Black; two brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Sue Bailey; children, Wanda Davis and husband Gerald, Jeanell Moon and husband Randy, Lessia Black and husband Randy, Teddy Joe Bailey and wife Pauline and William Edward Bailey; 8 grandchildren; 15, great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Dannie Bailey and wife Linda; sisters, Jean Bolton, Annette Connell and husband Leroy; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
