The family will receive friends today, Jan. 8, 2013, from 6 until 9 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Carbon Hill Memorial Gardens. Junior Harbin will officiate.
German was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Cole; brother, David German; brother-in-law, Manuel Wideman; father, Ben German; and mother, Flora Mae Markem German.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva German of Lynn; daughter, Joyce Hulsey and husband, Rockey, of Natural Bridge; son, Kenneth C. German; sisters, Verna Hoosier (Ralph) of Hammond, Ind., Mamie Wideman of Nauvoo and Faye Busby (Don) of Goodsprings; brothers, Johnny German (Sue) of Hanson, Ky., and Claudie German (Jenise) of Nauvoo; brother-in-law, Ray Gordon Cole; and grandchildren, Jessica Hulsey and Devan Hulsey of Natural Bridge.
