William Harold McLaughlin, 64, of Oakman, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at his residence. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, May 28, 2012, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Day Cemetery in Oakman. Kenneth Wiggins will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar McLaughlin; mother, Irene Wade McLaughlin; sister, Shirly Fortenberry; and father-in-law, Paul Bolton.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Bolton McLaughlin; daughter, Nicole Pittman; step-daughter, Crystal Norris; son, Herbert McLaughlin; step-son, Tim Sharitt; and seven grandchildren.
