SUMITON — The Sumiton Christian Eagles honored five of their senior players for Senior Night on Thursday and followed with a 9-2 victory over the Hoover Bucs at Sumiton. The seniors — Kendall Beth Sides, Jenna Ergle, Kamree Lay, Savanah Langston and Abbey Bice — have helped the program win 270 games, made four successive trips to the North Central Region and State tournaments and captured the 2015 and 2016 state championships, as well as receiving individual honors at the state and national levels. more
