Crash sends 3 to hospital

An early-morning accident on Alabama Highway 269 near Copeland Ferry sent three adults to the hospital.

The crash occurred near mile marker 24 on Highway 269 between Rainwood Lodge Road and Wood Lane at 6:15 a.m.

Crash sends 3 to hospital

An early-morning accident on Alabama Highway 269 near Copeland Ferry sent three adults to the hospital.

The crash occurred near mile marker 24 on Highway 269 between Rainwood Lodge Road and Wood Lane at 6:15 a.m.

Terry Clayton Oss of Carbon Hill, who was driving a 2003 Honda Pilot; Michael Wayne Schultz of Parrish, who was driving a 1995 Kenworth 18-wheeler; and Ronald Louis Nicholson of Fayette, who was driving a 2013 Ford Edge, were all involved in the accident.

The three drivers were taken by ambulance to UAB Hospital. Their conditions were unknown at press time.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Senior Trooper Johnathan Appling says the crash is still being investigated.
