Lona Phillips Williams, 66, of Bremen, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper.
The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bell Funeral Home in Sumiton, and Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at noon at Rice’s Chapel Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Rice’s Chapel Baptist Church, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Otto Tolbert, Chris Rollo and Jeremy Rollo will officiate.
Williams was preceded in death by her father, Willis B. Phillips; and mother, Varrine Rainey.
She is survived by her son, Frederick Williams of Sumiton; daughter, Melissa Harding and her husband, J.R. of Bremen and their children, Jesse Harding and his wife, Markie (and their children, Little Jesse and Mackenzie) and Jessica Harding; daughter, Melinda Lamb and her husband, Randy of Quinton, and their children, Jacob Lamb, Brandon Lamb and Meranda Lamb; sisters, Shelia Rollo and her husband, Cleo of Bremen, Kathie Tisdale of Sumiton, Bonnie Roberts of Sumiton, and Laura Phillips and her husband, Larry of Bremen; uncle, Daniel Campbell and his wife, Mary Sue of Arkadelphia; special friends, Rita Watson Light and Ray Owens; a very special loved one, Johnny Matthews of Cordova; and a host of other relatives and friends.
