William (Bill) Clay Crunk, 80, of Arley, passed away Sept. 18, 2019.
He was born in Lewisburg, Tenn., on Dec. 21, 1938, and graduated from Marshall County High School. Bill was married to Mary Ann Davis Crunk on Oct. 25, 1968. Bill worked as an electronic technician for Bellsouth Telephone Co. He served as Deacon at Arley First Baptist Church in Arley and as a Deacon and Elder at Midway Presbyterian Church in Powder Springs, Ga.
He had a passion for living on the lake and living for Jesus.
Bill is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Davis Crunk; daughter, Cynthia Anne Smith, son-in-law, Taylor Smith; son, Jason Thomas Crunk; daughter-in-law, Mary Cathleen Camp Crunk; grandchildren, Sidney Claire and Mary Connor Smith, Mary Hinson, Charlotte McCall and Thompson Daniel Crunk; and sister, Denise Kay Crunk Sargent.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Ray Crunk.
Memorial service will be held noon on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at Arley First Baptist Church located at 1610 Hickory Lane in Arley.
