She loved God and gospel music and attended Mt. Philadelphia Baptist Church for many years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and was cherished by her family and all that knew her. Mama Kat was a well — known cook, baking wedding and birthday cakes for many people, but was best remembered for the love she put into her family breakfasts and dinners, where the fellowship was as good as the food. She was very active all of her life, spending much time gardening, fishing, singing, following the Atlanta Braves and traveling.
