Dennis Hendrix, 55, of Ft. Myers, Fla., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010. Mr. Hendrix lived in Jasper as a child. He moved to Montgomery at age 11 where he attended Alabama Christian High School and David Lipscomb University.

Memorial services will be Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Dalraida Church of Christ in Montgomery. Dwayne Spivey will officiate. Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.

Hendrix was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Hardy and father, Howard Hendrix.

He is survived by his mother, Cristine Hendrix; children, Megan, Nicky and Morgan; sisters, Jan (David) Godwin and Jean (Ben) Hooker; nephews, Jeff Godwin and Greg Godwin; nieces, Jennifer (Sean) Eifert and Rachel White; and great-nephews, Mason Holladay, Dylan and Conner Eifert, and Philip and Dalton White.
