She was a longtime resident of Northport and published a book on poems and painted numerous paintings to share with family and friends. She loved and was loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her nieces, Fran Awbrey of Lawrenceville, Ga., June Sanford of Harvest, Becky Espar of Piscataway, N.J., and Carolyn Johnson of Fayette; and nephew, Dr. Ed Rose of Fredericksburg, Texas.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Stephen Brown, special caregiver Gwen Lollar, the congregation of Northport Church of Christ, nieces, nephews and neighbors.
