Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel with burial following at Phillips Cemetery in Dilworth. Rev Eddie Brand and Rev. Bob Thomason will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 5 from 5:30 until 8 p.m. at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stonie Maefield Phillips and Wilma Estele Phillips; brothers, Arial Muncher and Glen Phillips and sister, Mae Weldon.
He is survived by his sons, Myron Phillips and David Phillips; daughters, Myranda Phillips and Charlene Ownes; grandsons, Stonie Phillips and Kyle Phillips; brothers, Delaney (Joe) Phillips of Ohio, Ron Phillips of Sumiton and Ruel Phillips of Dilworth; sister, Laquette Brand of Mobile and numerous Nieces, nephews and friends.
