Louise Crisp, 88, of Nauvoo, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today, Jan. 15, 2011, at Collins Burke Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation before the service between 9 and 11 a.m. also in the chapel. Burial will follow at Ashbank Cemetery in Nauvoo. Joe Daniel will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse B. Johnson; mother, Alice Harper Johnson; brothers, William (Raymond) Johnson, James Vester (Tobe) Johnson and Lester (Willard) Johnson; sister, Mary Alice Rubley; granddaughter, Tammy Wright Jasso; and son-in-law, Thomas Randy Bridgmon.

She is survived by her daughters, Doris Jean Wright (Daniel), Margaret Faye Steed, Sheila Bridgmon-Sizemore (Keith) and Carolyn Stricklett, all of Nauvoo; son, Donald Crisp, of Nauvoo; sister-in-law, Jean Ganey Johnson; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Justin Wright, Danny Wright, Jeffrey Dionne, Blair Walling and Cecil Johnson.
