DORA — The public is being asked to help find a suspect in two recent burglaries in Dora.

Dora Police Chief John Jackson said two homes in the Burnwell area of Dora were burglarized Wednesday between noon and 3 p.m.

“We don’t have a great description of the suspect,” Jackson said. “We do have a vehicle for people to be on the lookout for.”

Jackson said suspect is believed to be a black male, around 5-foot-10. The suspect was driving a silver Dodge Charger with dark, tinted windows and a Jefferson County tag.

“We want people in our area to let us know if they’ve seen a vehicle matching that description,” Jackson said. “We want to find this suspect and get him off the streets.”

Jackson asked that anyone who has information regarding the incidents contact the Dora Police Department at 205-648-3211.
