Hollis “Tadpole” Thomas, 35, of Crosby, Texas, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Methodist Hospital after a brief illness. Hollis was born on April 10, 1975, in Alabama to parents James Lloyd Thomas and Cindy Thomas. Hollis was a compassionate and loving person to all who knew him. He was a loving son, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2011, from noon to 2 p.m. at Old Prospect Church in Nauvoo. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Collins Burke Funeral Home will direct.

He is survived by his parents and a brother, James Earl Thomas, wife Jennifer; nephew, Tyler; grandparents, Albert Earl McGinnis and wife Bonnie McGinnis; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
