Angeline F. “Polly” Pike, 80, of Carbon Hill died Friday, April 8, 2011, at Ridgeview Health Care. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today, April 10, 2011 at Townley Church of God. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visiation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. today at Townley Church of God. Dr. John Taggart and Rev. Phillip Hardin will officiate. Collins Burke Funeral Home will direct.

She was preceded in death by her father, Preston Guthrie; mother, Millie D. Griffin Guthrie. To be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord.

She is survived by her husband, Jessie W. Pike; daughters, Brenda (Michael) Guthrie and Margaret (Solon) Jones; sons, Jerry (Gena) Pike, James (Daphne) Pike; sister, Lorene Jenkins; brothers, Oliver Guthrie, Roy Guthrie, Decil Guthrie and Preston Guthrie Jr.; grandchildren, Jason Guthrie, Justin Jones, Jillian Guthrie, Cassidy Pike, Leanne Jones; great-grandchidren, Dylan Frye, Devon Guthrie, Jessica Jones and special friend Tyler Nourie.
