He was preceded in death by his father, D.L. York; grandson, Anthony York; and grandparents, Charlie Kilgore, Lillie B. Kilgore, Loulie C. Kilgore, Leonard York and Icie York.
He is survived by his mother, Pearl K. York of Jasper; sister, Donna Marlin (James) of Cordova; sons, Phillip York (Angelia) of Huntsville and Brad York (Amanda) of Jasper; daughter, Natalie (Richie) Lowery of Pell City; grandchildren, Jamie, Justin, Miranda, Andrew, Nikki and Sebastian; and a host of other relatives and friends.
