He was preceded in death by his father, Author Norris Sr.; mother, Zader Harbin Norris; and brothers, Everett Norris and Nealus Norris.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Norris of Nauvoo; daughter, Debra Norris; sons, Mark J. Norris (Lisa) of Oakman and James “Bo” Norris of Jasper; sisters, Clitter Lou Mason of Bessemer and Betty Brenneman of Madison Heights, Mich.; brothers, Buck Norris (Annie Paul) of Dora and Author Norris Jr. (Diane) of Dora; grandchildren, Angie Boshell (Tony), Matthew Norris, Christin Norris, Phillip Norris, Allison Boshell, Jay Royal, Alex Norris and Ryan Braden; and great-grandchildren, Anna Grace Boshell and James Garrett Boshell.
