Clifford Freeman, 72, of Empire, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will at 6 p.m. today, June, 5, 2011, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, June, 6, 2011, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Walker Memory Gardens.

He was preceded in death by his father, Grady Freeman; brothers, Stanley Freeman, Roy Lee Freeman and J.L. Freeman; sister, Lillie Mae Whisenhunt; daughter, Loretta Lynn Taylor; sons, Timothy Lee Freeman and Donnie D. Freeman; daughter, Toni Renee Catron; and granddaughters, Melonie Hernandez and Amanda Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Shelby Freeman of Empire; mother, Earnestine Freeman; daughter, Donna Hernandez (Al) of Jasper; sons, Darryl Freeman (Lisa) of Jasper, James Freeman of Jasper, Douglas Freeman of Jasper, Leon Freeman and Darryl Williams of Griffin, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Deb Freeman; sisters, Minnie Rivers, Ovaline Whisenhunt and Judy Noles; brothers, Ray Freeman, Williard Freeman, Billy Freeman, Charles Freeman, Roger Freeman and Bobby Freeman; 25 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Douglas Freeman, Darryl Freeman, Leon Freeman, Joshua Freeman, James Freeman, Chris Ferguson and Donald Ferguson.
