Milton Roy Reed, 81, of Cordova, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, June 22, 2011, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Barney Cemetery in Cordova. Dale Jacks will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Reed; mother, Nina Sanford Reed; wife, Lillian Hitchock Reed; father-in-law, Emery Hitchock; mother-in-law, Nola Hitchock; brother, I.S. Reed; and sisters, Jessie Jones, Alma Stillwell and Effie Craft.

He is survived by his daughter, Kim (Tony) Holland of Cordova; sons, Tim (Donna) Reed and Gary (Eugenia) Reed; sisters, Alice Reed, Betty Kellum and Geneva Royster; brother, Levi Reed; grandchildren, Lori Matterson, Holly (Mike) Clark, Beth (Carlos) Augusto, Megan (Jason) Hunter and Adam (Amber) Holland; and five great-grandchildren.
