Sonny’s Fast Track has been a staple in Walker County for nearly 20 years. While Sonny’s has always been popular for outdoor attractions such as go-carts, mini golf and batting cages, the company is now offering fun options indoors.

“We’re going to focus on indoor play,” owner James “Sonny” Hall said.

With scorching hot temperatures outside, children now have the option to play a wide variety of games indoors, such as air hockey, skee ball, and video games. Additionally, many of the games take tokens, and children receive tickets to redeem for prizes.

Kathy Pate brought her children to Sonny’s, and is happy that the establishment is providing a fun place for children of all ages to go during the summer months.

“Jasper doesn’t have anything for kids to do,” Pate said.

Hall feels that Sonny’s isn’t just a place for children. He believes that it is a good place for couples and families to have a good time.

“I think we’ve got a total package,” Hall said.

People can use Sonny’s as the venue for their next birthday party as well, and all birthday party packages include two hours of access to the party area. Sonny’s also welcomes field trips.

Hall says that the company is planning to expand and is always looking for ways to improve.

“We’re going to keep working to make things as good as possible,” Hall said.

Sonny’s Fast Track is located on Highway 69, and welcomes kids and adults of all ages to have fun and make special memories.
