She was formerly known as the lady who hauled and sold coal.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Patton; father, Arthur Swindle; mother, Della Swindle; brothers, Louie, Claudie, Marlin, Bod and Jack; and sisters Eula Nesmith and Maudine Jones.
She is survived by her sons, Shannon Patton and Jerry Patton; sister, Nadine Akins; grandchildren, Sharon Patton Key, Lawrence Patton (Katherine), Lori Bland (Stephan) and Justin Patton; great-grandchildren, Samantha Key Curtis (Jerame), Ethan Bland and Austin Patton (Imore); and various nieces and nephews.
