Travis Coolidge Keeton Sr., 86, of Nauvoo, passed away on Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, at his residence. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 7, 2011, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, at Kilgore-Green Chapel. Burial will follow at Keeton Cemetery in Nauvoo. Dan Carroll will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Keeton; grandchildren, Lewis Don Williams, Phyllis Williams, Michelle Keeton, Donna Johnson and Connie Dobbins; parents, Archie and Pearl Keeton; six brothers; and two sisters.

He is survived by his children, Toni Carroll (Dan), Travis Coolidge Keeton Jr. “Skip” (Sharon) and Betty Busby (Randy); grandchildren, Phil Williams (Gina), Doyle Keeton (Holly), Tonya Wright (Larry), Chris Williams (Heather), Pam Kirkland (Barry) and Jennifer McGough (Danny); 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Margaret Keeton and family; brother, Noah Keeton (Sue); and sister, Shirley Thorn (Kenny).
