James Steven “Steve” Lovell, 55, of Quinton, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at his residence. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at Shanghi Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Lovell, and sister, Sandra Higginbotham.

He is survived by his wife, Linda C. Lovell, of Quinton; children, Linda D. Lovell, James A. Lovell, Steven G. Lovell and Karen L. Keith; parents, James A. and Donna S. Lovell of Quinton; brother, Michael Lovell and his wife, Wendy, of Quinton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
