Jasper’s Pregnancy Test and Resource Center is hosting a 5K and fun run on Saturday.

The event, which will be held at Gamble Park, is named the SOHL (Sanctity of Human Life) Run For Their Lives.

“There is a strong running community in Jasper. A run seemed like a great way to raise awareness and funds to support the center,” said Ben McLain, a board member and director of fundraising for PTRC.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. The fee to participate in the 5K is $20. All donations are tax deductible.

Medals and prizes will be awarded.

McLain also encouraged families and non-runners to come out on Saturday for the fun run, which is free.

“We’re expecting nice weather. We hope people will enjoy meeting others who care about the sanctity of human life while giving back and having fun at the same time,” McLain said.
