Wilhite was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Wilhite; grandparents, Martha and William Smith, and William R. Wilhite and Hazel Hathcoat.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, William Wilhite Sr. and Melinda Wilhite of Nauvoo; daughter, Emily Wilhite of Carbon Hill; sons, Alex Wilhite and Andrew Wilhite both of Carbon Hill; brothers, Chip Wilhite (Wendy) of Nauvoo and Shannon Wilhite (Diane) of Jasper.
