Walker seemed headed for a win after grabbing a fourth-quarter lead against Mortimer Jordan Tuesday night.

After trailing the entire first half, the Vikings had the momentum in the closing minutes, but Walker couldn’t keep it.

Walker trailed from the start. Michael Bridges hit a shot at the first-quarter buzzer to cut Mortimer Jordan’s lead to 8-5 going into the second quarter.

The Vikings got within two points twice in the second quarter before Mortimer Jordan took a 20-15 lead into the half.

Walker cut the gap to 31-30 going into the fourth quarter and took the lead late before falling short at the free throw line.
