Margaret Clark Wynn, 93, of Dora, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Dilworth Cemetery. The Revs. Lane Sargent, Randy Beck and Kenneth Stroup will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bell Sumiton Chapel.

Wynn was a member of Sumiton Church of God for more than 65 years. She sang in the church choir, participated in the quilting circle, volunteered at the food bank and was a Sunday school teacher to all age groups. She was well known in the community for her contagious smile and generosity. She always took the time to witness for the Lord and give to those in need.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 49 years, Phillip Lee Wynn; son, Phillip “Bo” Wynn; parents, Mack and Gertrude Clark; brothers, Garnece Clark, Willis Clark, Bill Clark and Bobby Clark; sisters, Lula Mae Wiley and Elizabeth Lambert.

She is survived by her children, Johnnie Carolyn Hoagland of Brierfield, Margaret Ann Laminack of Muscadine, Tommy Lowell Wynn (Betty) of Powder Springs, Ga., Linda Wynn Sudano (Carl) of Alabaster and Freddy Levon Wynn (Donna) of Quinton; grandchildren, Jerry Hoagland Jr. of Cottondale, Jon Gregory Hoagland of Birmingham, Michael Brent Laminack of Muscadine, Jeffrey Wynn of Powder Springs, Ga., Daniel Wynn of Jasper, Micah Lee Wynn of Quinton, Diana Wynn Greer of Tennessee, Rachael Brandy Wynn of Quinton and Jesslyn Farrell Sudano of Alabaster; sister, Maxine Jones of Winterhaven, Fla. and a host of great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends.
