She was preceded in death by her parents, McKinley Harper, Sadie Allison Harper Goldsmith and John E. Goldsmith; husbands, Rufus Ferrell and Richard Wigsmoen; daughter, Betty Lou Ferrell; sons, James M. and Rums Keith Ferrell; and granddaughter, Kimberly Sue Ferrell.
She is survived by her sons, Gary (Kathy) and Jeffrey (Janice) Ferrell; daughters, Barbara (Vernon) Fowler, Joan Horvath and Elizabeth Ferrell; daughter-in-law, Kathleen (late James M. Ferrell); brothers, Brown (Betty) Goldsmith and Pervie (Vonnie) Goldsmith; sister, Mary Coggins; special sister-in-law, Doris (Late Oliver) Goldsmith; grandchildren, Scott Lee, Michelle Ferrell, Kenny Fowler, Philip Horvath, Michael Horvath, Heather (Nicholas) Lynn, Justin (Serena) Carrillo and Jeffrey (finance Patty Mathias) Ferrell; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Abigail Horvath, Christa, Alexis and Nicholas Lynn; many nieces and nephews; and many, many dear friends.
Estelle was a homemaker, seamstress and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She worked at the National Youth Foundation (NYA) in Jasper, from 1938 to 1940. She lived at home and loved flowers and did so until the age of 91. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, at 7 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road Highland Indiana, with Elder Larry Westmoreland officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012 from 2 to 7 p.m.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Jasper. Family and friends will be notified.
