Rigsby was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis Vaughn and Wilma Phillips Dobbins; husband, Alvin C. Rigsby; brothers, William Ellis and Wendell E. Dobbins.
She is survived by her children, April S. Rigsby, Tamra K. Key and Elizabeth A. Alsalamin; stepchildren, Denise Gilliland, Carmen Schaubhut and Curtis Lee Rigsby; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ellen Postalwaite, Opalene Darty and Dianna Vines.
