Estelle Hall Brakefield, 89, of Robertsdale, formerly of Walker County, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at Robertsdale Healthcare Center. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home prior to services. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Odom Memorial Cemetery in Parrish. Leroy Anthony will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Brakefield; parents, Ed and Willie Hall; sister, Lucy Argent; and granddaughter, Sandra Haggard.

She is survived by her sons, Ferrell Brakefield and his wife, Sandy, Wayne Brakefield and his wife, Patti, and Donny Brakefield and his wife, Shela; grandchildren, Jon Brakefield, Barry Brakefield and his wife, Jennifer, Jeff Brakefield, Wendy Scott and her husband, Dean, Chad Barnett and his wife, Karyn, and Stephanie Edwards and her husband, Wesley; and great-grandchildren, Maegan Brakefield, Sara Brakefield, Abigail Brakefield, Logan Brakefield, Cole Barnett, Kaily Scott, Jacob Scott, Joshua Edwards, Sarah Edwards, Rebekah Edwards and Annah Edwards.
