Erica Michele Bunch and Joseph Michael Woodley, both of Jasper, were married in a double-ring, candlelight ceremony on Nov. 11, 2011, at First United Methodist Church of Jasper. Dr. Martin D. Steelmon, uncle of the bride, from Decatur, officiated the ceremony. A reception followed at The Highlands on 4th in Jasper, hosted by the bride’s parents.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Karen Bunch of Jasper.
The groom is the son of Mike and Donna Woodley of Jasper.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Jim Bunch. The bride’s attendants were Alyssa Bunch, maid of honor and sister of the bride of Jasper, Jody Pressley Crosby, matron of honor of Charlotte, N.C., Beth Gordan Guthrie, matron of honor of Jasper, Jessica Woodley, bridesmaid and sister of the groom of Jasper, Amanda Hayden Roberson, bridesmaid of Jasper, Catherine Taylor Willingham, bridesmaid of Jasper, and Laura Drummond Snow, bridesmaid of Jasper.
Groomsmen were best man, Jacob Woodley, brother of the groom of Jasper, Travis Chatham of Fultondale, Jeffrey Flack of Dora, Morgan French of Hoover, Chris Judd of Moody, Randy Knight of Sylacauga and Bobby McMichael of Helena.
The bride wore a Jasmine Couture dress in ivory with a beaded sweetheart neckline. Beaded appliques on organza over matte satin were on the bodice and throughout dress with flare skirt. The Erica Koesler veil was 72 inches long with a 1/8-inch ribbon edge along the sides and an 8-inch Scallop Alencon lace along the bottom edge. The bride carried a bouquet of Black Magic roses, Scarlet Red Freedom roses, Rouge Basier roses and Cabernet Calla Lillies. Complementing the roses were Carmine Red cushion chrysanthemums. The design of the bouquet was enhanced by red ribbon in a beautiful shade of Merlot that encased the stems. To complete the bouquet the bride chose an exquisite crystal and silver broache that adorned the stems of her bouquet.

The rehearsal dinner was given by parents of the groom, Mike and Donna Woodley, in the fellowship hall of First United Methodist Church.
The couple is at home in Jasper.
