Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel prior to services. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Odom Memorial Cemetery in Parrish. Ben Godwin will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elzie Jack Adkins; sons, Dennis Glen Adkins and Michael Jack Adkins; brothers, the Rev. Odie Stockman, Lowell Stockman, Mack Stockman and Marvin Stockman; and sisters, Shelby Jean Humphrey and Nina Jane Stockman.
She is survived by her son, Steve Adkins; sisters, Brenda (Ken) Davis, Willie (Jerry) Heck and Anne Smiley; grandchildren, Chris Adkins (Andi), Shaun Adkins, Shauvon Adkins, Zack Adkins and Alyssa Adkins; and great-grandchildren, Colton Adkins, Dallas Adkins, Lyla Patterson, Shauna Adkins and Kyle Adkins.
